Statement Store

The Statement Store is a gossip-based publish/subscribe primitive that lives on the People Chain. Nodes can publish statements to topics and other nodes can subscribe to receive them, all without tight coupling between publisher and subscriber.

Topic-based subscriptions keep the network organized — each topic is an isolated message stream. On-chain rules govern behavior through allowances (who can publish) and time-to-live (TTL) controls that expire stale statements automatically. This makes the Statement Store suitable for real-time data feeds, notifications, and other off-chain messaging that needs on-chain accountability.

Where it fits: Network-layer pub/sub infrastructure for dApps, wallets, and indexers that need verifiable real-time data without running a full parachain node.
